Fun Fourth Festival Block Party – Come join the party to benefit Fun Fourth with great food, cold beer and dancing in the street! Located on Elm Street between Market, Greene, and Lee Streets
Greensboro, NC from 7pm-11pm July 3rd. 

Fun Fourth/Greensboro: The Fun Fourth Festival has been presented annually since 1975 as a community celebration of Independence Day for Guilford County and the Piedmont Triad. The festival is held in the Cultural District of Downtown Greensboro and at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex.Activities include: More than 90,000 people will attend Fun Fourth events this year, including the Freedom Run, the Kickoff Block Party, the Parade and Street Festival, as well as the Pops Concert and Fun Fourth Fireworks Finale. More than 100 businesses help sponsor the events and over 12,000 volunteer hours of assistance are donated. Fun Fourth maintains all the favorite American Independence Day traditions and offers great entertainment and exhibits free. Put on your red, white and blue and come downtown to celebrate!

Fireworks Spectacular/Greensboro: The yearly fireworks event at White Oak Ampitheater in Greensboro. Gates open at 7:00pm and fireworks display begins at 9:30pm.

Music in the Park, July 4th, 7:30 p.m. White Oak Ampitheatre, Greensboro. 

Fireworks with the Asheboro Copperheads Join the Asheboro Copperheads Baseball team with a fireworks show immediately following the game.

July 3rd In The Park – Independence Day Celebration

Tanglewood – July 4, 10 p.m. (fireworks) – The Forsyth County Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to announce that the Tanglewood Park 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular Event will be held in 2012. The event will be presented by Winston-Salem Federal Credit Union, Piedmont Advantage Credit Union and the Winston-Salem Journal. The gates to Tanglewood Park’s Steeplechase Track will open at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, July 4, 2012 to allow for picnicking before the fireworks display, which will begin at approximately 9:30 pm. The admission cost for the fireworks display is $5 per car and $10 per bus or motorcoach.

 Eden – July 4, 10 a.m. – 11 p.m. (fireworks) – Annual Ole Fashioned July 4th Celebration.Morehead High School – Pierce St., Eden NC Celebrate the 4th  with music, food, fund and fireworks!Morehead High School – Pierce Street Eden.

High Point – Uncle Sam Jam – July 4, 4:30 – 10 p.m.  – Fee:$10.00 per car load – Come out to Oak Hollow Festival Park for our annual July 4th celebration. We will have plenty of food vendors, music and fireworks. Performers will be: 40 East (Today’s Country/Southern Rock) and Pushh (Variety). We will have novelties, exhibits and displays, and food and beverage for purchase. No cans, bottles or alcohol allowed. No pets allowed, except for service animals. Additional parking available at Oak Hollow Golf Course and Marina. Sponsored by High Point Parks & Recreation, The High Point Enterprise, North State Communications, Pepsi Cola and WPAW 93.1. Kernersville – July 4, 10:30 a.m. – until (fireworks)

Spend your holiday at the pool enjoying your family, sun, water, giveaways, and FREE hot dogs while supplies last.  Catch the fireworks at Kernersville Elementary at dusk. More info.

Lexington – July 4, 6 – 9:30 p.m. (fireworks)

Music, rides, inflatables and amusements for children and kids of all ages.  Finch Park, 15 Paul Beck Road, Lexington. A great FREE family event.  Between 9 & 9:30 fireworks will begin!  For more information call 336-248-3960. More info.

Mount Airy – July 4, 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. (parade)

Reading of the Declaration of Independence will be held at the Museum at 10:30 in the courtyard. 11:00 4th of July parade with Donna Fargo as Grand Marshal
Following parade, Toast and Jam featuring Carolina Knights at the Museum. Wine by Round Peak Vineyards. 1-4 pm Meet Donna Fargo at the Museum.  Family Fun all day downtown. Bounce House, slide, clown, balloons, face painting, petting zoo and pony rides.

Reidsville – July 3rd, 4p.m.- 10 p.m. (fireworks)

4:00pm – Festivities begin, vendors arrive with food, drinks, rides, inflatables and much more. The fire works show will begin at 10 p.m. For more information call 336-349-4738.

Wednesday, July 4

Old Salem: Site Of Nation’s first July 4 celebration in 1783,is holding annual events beginning at 9:30am.

10am – Naturalization ceremony on Salem Square on Main St.

Archdale – 2pm Festivities begin with amusement rides. 7pm – Live Bands

9:30pm – Fireworks

Guilford Courthouse Military Park (Greensboro): Activities begin at 12:45pm with Fife & Drum Coprs. Re-enactments from Revolutionary war and Encampments.
